Why has everyone stopped selling effervescent health salts?

I used to always buy Wilko, Boots or Superdrug own label salts, but now the only brand available seems to be Andrews, which is very expensive.

Just wondered what has happened.
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:

    Funny, I've been wondering the same. My Mum gets indegestion frequently, and we always used to get her the Sainsbury's health salts. Now it seems Andrews is all that's available, and it's far too expensive for us to be able to afford! In fact I even watched the same Youtube video that welshbookworm has linked, but I haven't tried to make it yet...

    Hope they haven't found some health issue related to this product. We have been taking them for years.
