Mild panic

Hi

Do you think I could still get a mortgage under these circumstances ?

Essentially, the decision in principle from the broker was 325k, based on our income, deposit, and a target house value of 415k.

I now want to use a deposit of 150k and mortgage of 325k to buy a house with a value of 475k.

Will that work pleeeeeease?

Thanks.

So you've magicked up an extra 60k?

Why not? Gift from parents or disposal of some asset that wasn't planned before.

Since your borrowing is the same, but your LTV value will be even better I don't see why not. Ask your broker, since you are already using one, not us :)

If you are saying £60,000 extra provided in cash, then yes - no problem.
