Tax rebate

Hi everyone
Need some more advice please.
I became bankrupt on 9 May 2018. As a self employed person I made my tax payment on account on 31 January 2018.
I submitted my accounts for the tax year 2017/2018 and due to my continuing loss of earnings I have received a rebate from HMRC.
As this is basically money I overpaid in January does it have to be paid to the OR now that I am in bankruptcy?

Yes, it should go to the OR.0

It depends on your SOA, it maybe, depending on the value of the rebate, that the OR believes you need it for your essential costs. The procedure here is to speak to the OR and ask them what they want you to do.0

Thank you for responses. I will speak to OR and see what he has to say.0
