Competition closes at midday on 31.07.2018 and 3 working days later for postal entries.
1) The prize comprises:
a) Standard class return rail travel for two from the UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to Wolverhampton train station, unless the winner’s home address is in Northern Ireland, in which case, the prize will include return economy class flights for two and transfers to the hotel;
b) Return private transfers for two between Wolverhampton train station and the hotel;
c) Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two at 4* The Mount Hotel (23rd – 25th September 2018) based on the prize winner and their companion sharing the Lady Manders Suite on a bed and breakfast basis;
d) A glass of Champagne each on arrival to The Mount Hotel;
e) A three-course meal for two with a bottle of house wine to share at The Drawing Room Bar and Grill at The Mount on the day of the prize winner’s choice;
f) Two (2) Grand Circle Tickets for Jane’s 20 Year Anniversary Tour at The Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton on Sunday 23rd September 2018;
g) Two (2) Meet and Greet tickets to meet Jane McDonald after the performance.
h) Return private transfers between the hotel and The Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton; and
i) £3,000 Spending money.
2) The winner must be contactable by 2pm on 28th August 2018.
3) The prize is on set dates and must be taken between 23rd and 25th September 2018. The tickets for Jane’s 20 Year Anniversary Tour are for 23rd September only. No other dates are available. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that the prize winner and/or their companions are available to travel on these dates in order to take the prize. Entrance to the concert is subject to venue restrictions – please refer to The Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton website for specific venue restrictions: https://www.grandtheatre.co.uk/your-visit/termsandampconditionsofsale/
4) Check in at the hotel is from 2pm onwards.
5) If the concert does not take place for any reason, the prize winner can still take the accommodation for two at the hotel on the dates specified, but no alternative tickets will be provided.
6) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
7) The prize winner must book their trip within 7 working days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least two weeks in advance of the prize dates or the prize may be forfeited.
8) Should the prize winner prefer to drive themselves a mileage allowance up to the value of £200 will be offered and the rail allowance and taxi transfers will be forfeited. The allowance will be calculated at 45p per mile from the prize winner’s home address to The Mount Hotel.
9) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes.
10) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
11) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
12) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.
13) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
14) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
15) A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name only within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
