30.10.07 what small dfw thing will you do or have you done today?

So, we have had an enforced break, and many of us have found it difficult to keep up with our good habits.

So, this thread will help us focus on the small steps that we take every day to help us to become, and to stay, debt free.

Be proud of what you are doing, however small, and post it on here!

Today I will:
  • send everyone off to school/work with packed lunches
  • do my piggy clicks
  • check online banking and update my depressing spreadsheet for October
  • Keep working on my budgets for the next three months
  • not use my tumble drier - hang washing outside instead
  • not increase my debt in any way
  • be positive......we are back on MSE after all!
Have a good day everyone xx

I'm not sure if some of this is very DFW but:

    Today I have/will

    - do my daily clicks
    - Remember that I am a fab, motivated person
    - check online banking
    - look through my books to Amazon/Ebay
    - Photograph some stuff to put on Ebay
    - Not increase my debt in anyway
    - Start the 5 year plan!

I've been so de-motivated recently that I decided to start making one on my 'one day I will's' happen. I have always wanted to go to Egypt (Crusie the Nile and visit everything I can think of!) and promised myself that one day I will.

So in 5 years I will be 30 and debt free. I am going to start saving now for my wonderful trip. But I think I will need about £5,000 to do it the way I want to (this would be for 2 people) so from now on everything I Amazon/Ebay will be going into a savings account for my big holiday :D I'm hoping that it will keep me motivated on my DF journey if I know that something nice is going to happen at the end of it.

  • Today I will

*check my online banking (once the Abbey site lets me on)
*update spreadsheet with all my naughty weekend spends
*buy some birthday cards and pressies as cheap as possible
*not spend anymore unecessary money on kids last day of holidays!
*try not to use the tumbler
