Good evening everyone:)
I had an email today Blue from RSH wanting to know who we enjoyed our Scarborough trip:D:rotfl:made me smile. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon the most yummiest fish and chips they were indeed worth the trip:j and had a lovely stroll along the beach the weather was so mild:beer:. Apoligise for the abrupt end to our day.
We booked 2 nights at the Crowne Plazza in Leeds on the special New Year Promo for priority club members so only paid just over £40.48 for both nights:j the room was fab even included complimentry bottles of drinking water. We booked that weekend in particular as DH & DS were going to go to the Man City FA cup match meeting others at the game. So Blue and I decided on a day at seaside:D:rotfl:. Now if I say DH won a raffle at the pub where he won 8 free drinks are you now begining to get the picture:eek: especially after they had already had a few at the pub. All I can say it is a good job he doesn't go to away games very often:rotfl:. The arrangement was we were both due in at similar times at Leeds station so we were to wait for each other all I can say was poor ds and he had the very good sense to take him to McD's and get him a coffee. We had to end up getting a taxi from the station to the hotel which was only a couple of mins up road:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: . Suffice to say he had a very quiet day Sunday:D;) Was very funny trying to see him txt his mate when he was drunk
Now think I got quite a bit of catching up to do:eek:0 -
I was going to take us to a lovely mexican restaurant I know in Covent Garden, so will scrap that....:rotfl:
buffet sounds a good idea, but I don't like Garfunkels, there's is no good anymore.
I have a bit of time to work on it, so will let you all know once I have found somewhere.
Aesop please don't change arrangements for restaurant on me not liking the beans as there are always plenty other choices normally on menus ie fajitas etc so I really don't mind where we eat. Covent Garden sounds good love it there.0 -

AH, I can help you with your phone. Can access your phone remotely, if you PM me when you are free, will talk to you about it.
Thanks Aesop :A that would be very good off you, I know you really busy with work during the week so would the weekend be a better time to sort it.
Blue had a look at my phone and has told me I should have been able to get wifi on laptop through my phone as has wifi when have been staying at hotels:o:o:o instead of paying ie travelodge £20 a week:( as her OH has the same phone so will have to look into that the next time we stay away.0 -
Dr.Who-Who wrote: »Message to Ah - its no longer £30 cash from moneyvista via imutual, they have downsized their cash offer to £10:(:(
Thanks for this Doc :A is it still worth me signing up to imutual for the future anyways:o0 -

Just seeing this reminded:D:rotfl: me was falling asleep Fri evening trying to catch up on drivel via my mobile at hotel must have got to your post MT which was the last post when reading and drifting to sleep must have been touching buttons some how I had managed to save this pic on my phone as a screen page no idea how I done it:rotfl: so Blue also sorted that for me:o0 -
@ Aesop - I didn't apply for the gourmet because AH said it was not good - I took advise from the person who always eat out. I got taste the card which should be good enough for all of us.
[/QUOTE]
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Oh dear Doc didn't mean you to think not apply for the card that's why I posted esp with the chance of getting it free for a year that's why I gave it a go:o I probs wouldn't pay for it as I have the tastecard which I find simpiler to use. BUT the Gourmet card does have some restuarants not covered by tastecard and if free would give more options.0
