I've actually managed to get my 20,000 bonus membership rewards points from AMEX Gold card :j
I've ordered £50 M&S giftcard and £50 Amazon e-voucher plus the rest are going to my Nectar account - £115+ result :D

Now to cancel the card before 1 year anniversary ;). It's been a great card - got loads of free stuff in the November shop small promo and another £15 back from a £50 fillup at Shell on Foursquare promo. First year was free but there is a £125 annual fee  so it's goodbye :rotfl:

You did well off that card Jeferey. I remember all the little pressies you got your wife and your free lunches as well.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening all

Sorry for not replying all day yesterday of today spent all day from 7.30am to about 6pm travelling and at ikea we had a fab time kids got to pick goodies and we got couple items to and got to check out the sofas we are going to order online. Was a very long day tho and have been busy outside all day today had lovely sunshine and we managed to give the lawn it's first cut of the year and we got 5 large sacks of cuttings !!!! Going to drop them off at dads for his compost heap tomoz

The concert we are going to in Bon jovi they are my 1 weakness I have every album and have seen them live quite a few times but had to miss the last concert as was around the time ds2 was due to be born. They are fantastic live and although they are getting on a bit now ;) still wouldn't kick em outta bed ;);) he he he

I had my eyes opened yesterday I've never seen such horrific driving as seen in London people seriously have no regard for safety and will cut up anything infront of them even huge lorries lol and a red traffic light just seems to mean you have push forwad that bit quicker lol it was frightening makes me thankful for having fairly peaceful roads near us

    CM

Think driving in general has got worse over time, but London being so much busier and people rushing to get where they going is definately the worse:mad:

Love ikea just wish it wasn't so far away :( we had a 10hr day yesterday but kids were great littlest one got bit upset toward the end he go fed up being strapped in the car bless him. They had some lovely new fabrics at ikea I got some to recover a little sofa in the kids room and we got some new fabric that has pictures all over it drawings of castles and animals and flowers etc in black and white and you use fabric pens to colour it all in me and dd going to make some fusions for her to colour in for her bedroom

    CM

Fabric sounds wonderful - Ikea stuff is such good quality (usually) and reasonable. Nice stuff without designer prices :)

Thanks CW and AH - might do ;)

Drizzling here. I've got the delights of Meadowhell on the way home today to pick up some lightshades for DD2's new bedroom. Ordered them in the sale at Laura Ashley :)
There's talk of a new Ikea in Sheffield - that would be much easier for us - we went to Nottingham one ealier this year but it doesn't sound like that's as far as you go CM
