PM, get DH to put a note through their door

"I appreciate you are young and want to party, with being the weekend and all, but I am recovering from a major operation, and as much as it sounded like a great party and I wish I could have joined in. Am quite jealous I wasn't able to come out as it sounded fun, but could you please bear this in mind and be a little quieter in the garden next time please."

PS when I am better please invite me to your next party :D Love PM

  • Aesop never heard that saying"oil on troubled waters " before.Very interesting.
R.E RM do you always use the same post office? My mum had trouble for ages with stuff going missing. She suspected things got forgotten at the back of the shop(its owned by a lovely couple so we know theres no malice) and sure enough since she has moved and is hence usinga a different post office she has no bother at all.

I have heard of the saying many a time but never thought about the meaning as wonderfully explained by Aesop:AI had thought it meant to make worse:o so we learn something new every day.:D:rotfl:

We should do a competition to see if anyone can guess how many "quite a few" is :D:D I did leave "a few" on the shelf, wasn't totally greedy, although wish I had taken them all when I realised they would only last you a month at the rate you burn candles:cool::cool:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: yes think that's a good idea and a bit of fun and the prize can be Doc coming to clean the winner's bathroom to show she has learn't how to use Cif properly instead of trying to kill poor Blue:D:p:rotfl:
  • Well a 'few' in my book would be around 50 ish :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

not a bad guess :D but not correct
