New MFW saying hi...

Options
Been on other threads on the forums for a while, but as I completed on my house yesterday, I am now joining the MFW brigade!! Am hoping my mortgage account details will be added to my online banking so I can see the effect of overpayments, but not sure if that happens or not?
But regardless.... the more I can do to pay it off faster, the better! :money:

  • Thank you, yes, the calculators are great aren't they!! I just wish I could see the mortgage details online so I could see the effect showing on there straightaway... But that's just a little thing :-)

  • Well, set up the internet banking details and made my first overpayment of £40 - starting as I mean to go on!! (and it's only the first month... I'm not keen, lol!!)
Loving the calculators - especially when I can see a report showing the total going down month by month :-)

Don't forget to compare your mortgages rates against the best paying ISA's. You may find it better to invest in an ISA than overpay.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:
