I submitted my full application last Thursday. Submitted all required paperwork yesterday.
I've heard they can be quite fussy or strict.
Just looking to see if anyone has any experience with them?
Many thanks!:)

I was a Ybs mortgage customer for nearly 10years and we had a simply brilliant product called an offset mortgage with family and friends.
Local branch in our town which helped big style.
Can be strict on lending criteria but good rates and we Love offset mortgages0 -
We got our mortgage with them this year. No issues at all.
Partner had been in the U.K. less than 2 years and we didn!!!8217;t have any issues with that. We were really limited on lenders as a result.
Both on 24k pa. borrowed a little under £180. We put down 30% deposit.
We applied in branch. All very smooth. Few questions from underwriter. Mostly about our weird address situation as our bank and electoral roll different to where we were living.
Good luck0 -

Sounds good. They did query my strange address too. Nightmare being in a block of flats. Plus I confused them with my previous address as it was the same address but different flat number. (My mum lives upstairs!)
Fingers crossed.0 -
This mortgage application seems to be really slow.
Nothing has been updated since the 5th of June and I don't want to phone them and hassle them.0 -
To give a rough timeline for us with YBS (give or take a day or so in the middle as it was 6 months ago!)
Day 1- Applied in branch
Day 6 - Call to query some details
Day 7 - Called to collect fee for valuation (and done within a couple of days)
Day 13 - Called to query some more details
Day 14 - Called for us to pay the reservation fee as were going to issue mortgage
Day 15 - Mortgage offer issued.
I don't know where in the process you are, but I would give it a couple more days and give them a call.0 -
I spoke too soon pink_girlie.
Just had an email to say my mortgage offer is in the post! Haha.
Thank you for that though0 -
