I have used ebuyer successfully for a few years now and did not realise how lucky I was to have been in whenever the delivery was made. This time I was at work when a delivery was attempted. This is not usually a problem as I can normally contact the delivery company to rearrange a delivery. However, I sat on the phone for 40 minutes yesterday with no reply from the company. Today I tried for 10 minutes at a time several times throughout the day still with no success and now I have spent over 1 hour trying to get through. When I just now got through I find that there is no way to get an approximation of delivery time it is a standard 9 - 5.30 and there is no saturday delivery. Although you can collect up to 8 it is in an industrial estate off the main road and not a safe place to walk to.
As I cannot take a day off work I will have to walk 2 miles to pick up the parcel on Saturday, or get a bus into the city centre to get a train to near the depot which is a 8 mile trip there and then a 8 mile trip back again.
Had they made it clear that City Link was the delivery company and they would only give times Monday - Friday 9 - 5.30 I could have changed the delivery and paid for the Saturday delivery or I could have bought elsewhere?
Just thought you guys should know so you can check your own city link depot for its delivery policy.0 -

Just ordered an 8GB memory stick, which with cheapest delivery option £2.58 plus my £10 discount brought the total to £27.82. Not too shabby
Just to confirm, I have taken advantage of the Google discount before, but it was with another company. My plan is to live for ever....so far so good0 -

Unfortunately Ebuyer increases prices and cuts back on free delivery deals when these offers are on.0

Your not wrong there. I've been watching a few items such as the 19.99 3-port HDMI switch box posted on hot deals which has had 3 price increases (about 22 to 25 now to their normal price of 27) saving a massive £3 :rotfl: What a complete joke. I'm sure the price will go back down as soon as the offer ends...
Sounds like Google will store your credit card number if you like it or not:
Credit/Debit Card Information: Your credit/debit card information is stored in your Google Checkout account. Charges to your credit card are made by Google Payment Corporation, and your credit/debit card information is not shared with ebuyer or any other merchant that uses Google Checkout.
I'm not sure I trust them... They are obviously using the information for targetted marketing.0 -

I used this offer twice last time it was on and got £10 both thimes. Just used it to buy a new graphics card and it worked again! Same account, same email. Only thing i can think is my card had expired so i had to input a new expiry date and security code.
Lovely!0
