I have accessed my personal tax account via the Government Gateway many times and have always chosen the option for my access code to be valid for seven days.
Today though, this has not worked and I have had to enter a new access code that HMRC has sent by text each time I try to log in.
Has anyone else noticed this? I do not believe that it is my laptop as it also not working on my tablet.

I have often found the "seven days" to actually be anything from 0 to 7.0
