Forum Search Problem

I'm not sure if anyone could help, but I have a problem when searching the Competitions Time forum with certain search terms.

I've noticed it in previous months, where if a search has the same day number as the month number, I get very few threads in the search results.

For example if I search the forum for "e: 04/06", "e: 05/06", or "e: 06/06", i get very few threads in the search results for those dates, within the 12 pages of search results. Just now when I searched for "e: 06/06" I only got around 5 or 6 results in the search results with competitions that end on the 6th June. I get a lot of other threads with competition end dates in June.

In the past I initially thought that it must have been a quiet day for ending competitions on the dates I search for(e.g. 05/05) but now that it's happened again I'm thinking that it must be the search term I'm using or the way the search works that is the reason why I'm getting so few results.


Does anyone else have any suggestions for how to find the competitions that end on 06/06(and other similar instances for other months)?

Searching for dates has always been an issue. you could try these and see if they help you

End Date

Newest Post First

There will always be a few that don't fit in where they should due to the way different people post. For example there might be an extra space or . in a different place

The End Date link you posted was really useful , I think I might use that from now on!
