Go onto 'Beauty Express' website, they have a brand called Gelish which is really good. There starter kit is a bit pricey but it'll work out cheaper in the long run. Plus they do 20% off your first order! A cheaper alternative is Sensationail, however the quality of their gel polish isn't that good and it can sometimes peel off quite quickly.
I would include links to these but it won't allow me. Sorry0 -
Can you actually paint your own nails?
It could be a false economy.
Try treat well for cheaper places?
No idea how chavs can afford to get fake nails.0 -
Am also looking for a kit do my nails at home.
Madlyn, did you buy a kit?
My manicure now costs £28 every two weeks and I need to cut down on my spending. Any recommendations? Thanks.0 -
I bought a kit from Amazon, similar to the one katiekittykat linked further up the thread. I buy Bluesky gel varnishes. It's certainly much cheaper than paying for a professional to do it. It does take a bit of practice to get a good finish but worth it.0

If anyone wants any tips and advise on this let me know. I'm a trained nail tech and whilst you should be a professional applying gel polish, I appreciate it can be expensive. Let me know if you'd like some pointers so that you don't damage nails etc x0

I bought this Pro Kit and used it for the first time today. It’s really easy and the results were very impressive. Need more practice to do my left hand, but think I will improve with every application. Highly recommend.0 -

I've bought Sensationail, was half price in Boots one year.
