Hi,
Yesterday I received my offer from Nationwide (yay!), but alas my worries have not yet disappeared. This morning I 've checked all 3 credit reports and there's nothing on there to show that Nationwide have done a hard credit check, or any check at all?
What does this mean? Does it take a few days to show up? I guess I'm now concerned that they'll do a credit check and the offer will be withdrawn.
Thanks

The system doesn't work in real-time.
There is often a lag between an event and it reflecting on your file(s).
You've got an offer, stop worrying about it. You can't get an agreement in principle from Nationwide without a hard search, never mind a full formal offer.I am a mortgage broker. Thanks for your reassurance,
Do you have any experience with purchasing homes from a business? (The current vendors part exchanged their house for a new build). We were told that our house offer was accepted on the basis that we exchange by 10th June - obviously that's not going to happen.
How strict are businesses about this date? I've tried to contact them a few times now but cannot get through.0 -
It varies from firm to firm.
Some will no doubt re-market while others will be more pragmatic as long as you are seen to be making progress.I am a mortgage broker.
