Post Office First Start

Has anyone got a Post Office First Start Mortgage?

Can you tell me any more about it? Have you found it helpful in increasing your affordability?

All the information is on the Post Office web site, tells you everything you need to know.

It would be very helpful to increase affordability as long as your sponsor is on board with everything.

It doesn't say some things. Can anyone answer:
How much the sponsor needs to earn a year?
Whether they have to be mortgage free?
Whether their credit rating is taken into account too?
If they do not become joint owner, just sponsor, will I still be exempt from stamp duty?

Also just wondered if anyone had any general reviews or thoughts :)
