Hi,
Glad to see we are up & running again.
Bought an Apple from the Apple store yesterday and took advantage of their finance.
Was told to ring MBNA today to go through the process, spent over four hours on the phone without actually speaking to anyone, was on hold for four hours!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this a record? I can only think that British Gas may be able to beat it.
Anyone dealing with MBNA having the same trouble?
Martin

If it was I wouldn't bother you have a free computer!
Seriously though the Apple store should have done all the work for you.
4 hours is ridiculous!0 -
Sorry, bought it online, had to call MBNA to go through the finance. They have to go throught the figures then post out the application, you sign it then they send out your mac.0

I would have got an interest free credit card rather than waste my time on this.
I hope you tell Apple about your experience as if you are not alone this could seriously damage their business.
They might even be grateful to you.0 -
The story so Far,
Apple have stopped using MBNA for the consumer finance, they stopped doing this on 26/10. They have handed it over to Clydeside Bank, however the web site still points to MBNA including the phone number, which they now dont answer.
Clydeside have been caught with there pants down and have got no idea what to do, I am expecting a call tommorow from a manager.
Gonna email Apple and let them no wjats happening, why they chose two months before Christmaa to do this and get it wrong amazes me.
Dont have a credit card at the mo but good idea, thanks.0
