HR meeting but feeling unwell

Some may know from another post it's likely I won't pass probation and will be asked to leave in a couple of weeks. I had thought unwisely of calling in sick then resigning.
My issue now is I genuinely don't feel well. I've had 2 abnormal blood tests and due to speak with doctor next week and have another test for coeliac disease. I feel so exhausted amongst other things. I think my symptoms are party why I wasn't doing a good job.
I don't know what to do. If I self certify work will think I'm dodging the meeting. If I try to obtain a doctor's cert I don't know if the doctor would write me one anyway as the symptoms are vague and I have no formal diagnosis.
Any ideas?

I would explain the situation at work and ask if they could delay the meeting until you have a clearer idea what the problem is.0

Why would feeling unwell stop you attending?0

Can’t you just book annual leave? If you’ve accrued it, seems daft them paying out (if you’ve entitlement) when they could allow you to take it especially at this time, sorry of course I imagine this is daft.
I don’t think I’d get leave allowed now either, but it might be different if I had someone I could pass the work onto and it wasn’t time critical.
Hope you have a better GP then me - mine really doesn’t write notes and would rather give helpful lines to use when it comes to employers. Thyroid was out of control a few weeks back, apparently it wouldn’t have waited for the DWP situation.
Best of luck, just hang on in there for a little while longer. Counting the weeks down can be therapeutic and maybe you’ll find you have nothing to worry about if you do pose the question about annual leave? x0 -
If you are going to fail probation anyway does it really matter what they think? Personally I think your health should take priority so do not force yourself to attend work to do a job you are very likely to lose in the next few days.0

You dont need to prove anything to us. Youve stated on two other threads youre failing probation and want to go on the sick to look for other jobs.
You dont need to justify yourself to us. Crack on0 -

How about being straight with your employer?0 -

Do you think you would want the job if you were feeling well? In which case going straight to the employer and telling them you are ill, having tests, and may be a different person in x weeks would be worthwhile. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

well spotted. Yes I did say that. I even started this thread saying that! However I am genuinely unwell. Not sure why I would lie about that to people on the internet that I don't even know?
I don't need time off to look for jobs. Can apply in the evenings and weekends.0 -

No I wouldnt. I'm not enjoying it and started looking for other jobs even before I was told I might fail probation. I see your point though.0
