I have had a small buy to let mortgage with Leek Building Society for the last two years and wanted to change to one of their new 2 year deals. This could not have been made any easier. The first callwas answered by a real person, a lady who dealt with my query immediately, understood what I was asking, and booked a telephone meeting with a mortgae consultant for 3 pm that day. At exactly 3.pm I was called, spoke with the consultant, agreed which term would be best for my requirement, and she said documents in the post that evening. These arrived first thing next day. I really dont think I could have received a better service anywhere. No multiple choice dumb telephone system, straight to an intelligent person. and I was called back at the agreed time. Superb.
