Buying Spices Online?

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a good website for buying spices online?

I like to make curries etc. but buying spices in the small Schwartz jars is extortionate.

Similarly, for fresh herbs like coriander etc it's very expensive to buy at the supermarket when it is needed in larger quantities.

I have found that we have a Pak Foods close by so I will check that out.

Many thanks

Also, try the "World foods aisles" in supermarkets - these often have big bags of spices for cheaper prices than Schwartz etc.

Ethnic shops will sell 'good, popular' spices at cheap prices because there will be a high turnover for them. You could also look for spice stalls in local markets where you can buy small quantities often and you know they will be fresh.

We have a shop and a stall in Cardiff (Kashmiri chilli = 50p for 20gm which doesn't sound a great deal but will do me 2-3 curries).

Sainsbury sells popular brand of spices in its 'World' area Natco 100gm Cumin = 0.80p
