Hearing Aid Glasses

I would be interested to read peoples' experience of using these please, together with a broad idea of the cost.

Thanks

I've always been led to believe that they're a bit of a gimmick from the hearing aid point of view

That's why I wanted comments from people's experience of using them.

Can be suitable for people suffering from a mild to severe conductive hearing loss. Most hearing aid users have sensori-neural hearing loss. Your audiologist will be able to tell you the type of loss that you have, and indicate costs if appropriate.

I have not seen a pair of hearing aid glasses in about 15 years. I used to have several customers that wore them and when their glasses prescription needed changing we used to remove the sides and give to the customer the sides for safe keeping and just send the frount for glazing and reasemble in branch. I did not know they were still available. I don't think they are very practicle as if they need alteration or repair to either component the wearer is left with reduced hearing and vision while things are dealt with.
