The overdraft is probably more expensive than the loan, but pay off the more expensive one first

Is this better off by £100 a month?

yep I'll take home an extra £100!:T The o/d is more expensive so I think that should go first HOWEVER knowing Mr Frog like I do as soon as It's paid off he'll probably look at it like there's a "spare" £4300 there to spend! I have said we must close the account once it's paid off but he's already suggesting keeping the facility there for "emergencies!" It's VERY hard as Mr Frog gets very touchy about me being "too tight" and it sends him off the other way ~ I'll just settle for an argument free time and let him spend. Which is why we got into trouble!

Banks seem to be tightening up on overdrafts so you may see them reduce your overdraft facility as you bring the total down anyway. Especially if you ask them to ;)

Why don't you ask the bank to reduce your overdraft by £50 a month, then spend the rest as you like and Mr Frog cannot use the overdraft caus it has gone!

I would do half and half and repay debts at £50 per month and get housey things with the other £50 each month. Once the house is up together you will all feel better anyway and can use £25 per month for luxury spends and £75 for debt spends.

    2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.
