Mortgage with defaults

Hi,
I have 3 defaults that will come off my credit report in November.

Are mortgage lenders likely to be more lenient with these due to their age? No other credit issues since (5 years 7 months)

Thanks

you need a broker who deals with adverse credit and give them copies of your credit files all 3 of them. They will then see what your chances are, really depends also on how much deposit your income, other debt e.t.c

We are going throu a mortgage broker we have just cleared all our debts but the default remains we are using a company called masthaven for our mortgage we have been advised to use this as no high street will accept us and once the 5 year fixed is up go back and get a new mortgage with a clean record , if your default is almost gone u should be ok as we were advised some high street will look over them if there a almost done , we had to provide so much stuff it!!!8217;s unreal there have gone throu it with a tooth comb and we should have our offer end off next week it!!!8217;s stressful but it!!!8217;s the only way out we can see as we!!!8217;re stuck in a house with tons off equity which we can!!!8217;t use so we have a £60k deposit on a £217k house so we!!!8217;re not asking for a huge mortgage and we had to provide a letter to say that the money I got given to pay debts off was a gift also
I personally would give NatWest a try as I herd they were more favourable over defaults obviously depending on what u need to borrow and ur earning

There are high street lenders who will accept some defaults. The options vary depending on the size of default(s), how many you have, satisfied/unsatisfied and so on.

But defaults no matter how old are not for every lender. It probably is one for a broker.
