Bankruptcy application complete!

Hi guys, so after a lot of consideration and trying to battle my debts for a few years I have finally submitted my bankruptcy application today. It said a decision will be made within 28 days, how long does it usually take to process?

Once it’s been ‘approved’ I think I will have a massive weight lifted and look forward to trying to move forward from this. Credit is evil, I never want another credit card or loan ect again. Onwards and upwards! I’ll update how things go.

Was the next day for me, application Thursday, approved Friday, call on Monday to arrange interview, interview Tuesday, all done in less that a week.

It's a bank holiday weekend - you'll probably get the email on Tuesday

I filed application 13.4.18 it was accepted on 16.4.18 I had call same day and interview 21.4.18.
I recieved written confirmation of BR, confirmation I can keep my car, banks accound frozedn n cancelled and a request for joint household soa 4.5.18

Thanks guys it!!!8217;s been approved this morning. Now to await my phone call and see if I will be getting an IPA. I will be so relieved when this is all over. This month is going to be so tight as we scrapped and cut all areas to get the money together for the bankruptcy fees. I!!!8217;ll be heading over to the frugal living board for inspiration to keep us going

srg0916 did you jave to send proof of for some things how long did it tale to hear back after you did send some did you hear anything? I send mine off 2 weeks ago and not heard anything everything else happened so quick filed it on 14 May call on 15 May docs on 17 May with being told bank accounts frozens just wondering if I woild hear anything else. Had no assets or anything.
