Well its easy make sure you say that you are transferring from a different house to theirs they see £££££ of commission by securing new customers. Get an idea of what you would like in their range say Dior capture totale they do have samples in book form with little pouches or little tubes. Make it less obvious you just want the freebies they will be much more obliging. Clineque have 3 step samples of their skin care ranges those are normally good to go for.
No 7 in boots do their samples in little jars too which they fill for you personally (well they do in boots where i live.) Also use the angle of wanting to see if the product is suitable for your skin works too.
If you love a product and want to buy it (if at the right price) go to the store that you got the sample from they do take notices of such things.
Put yourselves on the "files" of cosmetic counters too if you buy products in the stores they keep tabs on what you buy and how much you buy them for. Some stores operate a dot system get so many dots and you get full priced products free. If you are on file they will send you mail shots about promotions other regular customers dont.
Its all about building that report with the consultant serving you by acting like a purchaser not a freebie hunter goes a long way.
