Morning all,
So 2 more days until my Debt Free Day:j:j:j
Cannot wait to make those final payments.
As soon as they clear I am going to cancel the Barclaycard, no need to have a CC with a £12,500 limit as I am going to be a smart cookie from now on when it comes to money.
Still haven't heard back from Opinion Outpost about them terminating my accountHopefully they will get back to me this week at some point.
I had a lazy morning and came into work at 9.45am rather than 8am so will need to stay later to make the time back, sure I will be regretting this decision at 8pm when I am leaving work :rotfl:

I am seriously impressed Deleted_User and it is good to see your plan mapped out. That is what I call goal setting! If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
Emergency fund 100/1000
Buffer fund 0/100

Just got another £5 survey - super happy with that.
It is a mobile and broadband one with a 2 day diary, well on my way to the next £50 cheque!

Oh also meant to add that I cashed out a £15 Amazon voucher so bought a bottle of tequila for my night out on Friday.
This is for me and a couple of the girls from work, we always go out for dinner but end up just drinking tequila. We don't kid ourselves now so just take a bottle out with us - how cheeky
Not paying £3 a shot in the pub no sireeeeeee :rotfl:
Also because I bought it with my Amazon I am now £10 up in cash towards my night out - go me!

Exciting times for you.
Just a thought - rather than cancelling the BC, reduce the limit and use it and pay off the balance straight away. It is handy to have the cover a CC provides on bigger purchases and, managed well, will help your credit score when it comes time to submit that mortgage application. You could also look around for a CC that gives you rewards for using it and make that wee bit of plastic work for you.
Whatever you decide, enjoy that final payment tomorrow!
