You could try going with Capital 1 card fixed at 0% until August 2008 for a 1.7% transfer fee & paying that into Egg Money. Shorter term they also do a fee free 0% deal till April. I've used this one to do a bit of Stoozing via egg money without issue with them. Would save yourself a bit of interest short term, but it's a gamble as to what rates are available when your deal is up. However even if you had to revert to the standard rate Capital 1 are advertising it's still cheaper than what you got right now 9.9% or 15.9% depending on card chosen.0

This will make your balance on egg Money as a positive figure, simply withdraw this positive amount & use it to pay of loan. Only fees you will encounter is the credit card fees from which you do the original balance transfer.
I have a egg credit card not a egg money card with having a egg credit card would they just send me one or do i need to apply for one and get all sorts of checks done.
As currently been paid off my work.
I read on here that someone was able to transfer there cahoot flexible loan to there credit card,i want to do the same but with barclaycard,it offers me 6.9% per annum and it can be done online, but it asks for other card details to transfer and not about loans,i suppose i will find out soon as emailed them to see if it can be done over the phone as sure would be better to be paying 6.9% per annum that the high rate i pay now to cahootTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0 -
My experiences with egg are that if you've got an existing product with them they have no problem giving you another. I had the egg card then applied later for egg money & it was approved in seconds & delivered in a few days.0

Did anybody get an answer to this ?
I owe £2500 to Cahoot flexi loan @19.9%. I have a cheque from Barclaycard offering 6.9% lifetime balance transfer with no handling fees. I would save a couple of hundred quid if I could pay the cheque to the Cahoots flexi loan.0 -
Depending on your ability to repay over the short term and get another card, Virgin are offering 0% on balance transfer for 15 months (2.98% fee).
There are much better life of balance transfer deals than 6.9%, see elsewhere or on the stoozing website (www.stoozing.com/lob)"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0
