Hi,
It is my sons birthday in a couple of weeks and he would like an mp3 player.
Because he is currently a fairly young 9, i dont want to spend lots of money prob no more than £50, but he is emphasing that he wants something with a very long battery life.
i thought this one looked fairly good
1Gb Samsung Flash USB2.0 WMA/MP3 Player with FM Radio
https://www.audio-mania.co.uk/samsung-flash-usb20-wmamp3-player-with-radio/p-162.html
has anybody got any experience of samsung mp3s or could recommend anything else?
thanks

I just bought my 8 year old daughter a Creative Zen Nano which she is very happy with, runs off AAA batteries and seems to have a good run time (Creative claim 18 hours). I got it from the Creative ebay shop and it was only £22 including delivery.
Creative ebay shop
They also have a nice looking Creative Zen V 1Gb on there at the moment. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

Thats not a Samsung MP3 player. Its a cheap chinese model but the storage chip which is in it is made by Samsung (which many of them are as they are one of the biggest manufacturers). They have poorly worded it to make you think the mp3 player itself is made by Samsung.
If you did want a Samsung Player there is this: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5133862/Trail/searchtext%3EMP3+PLAYER.htm
512MB Samsung MP3 Player - £12.49 (14 Hour Battery Life) but I have a feeling it might be one of those Argos offers which are on the site but none of the stores have stock but it could be worth a try.0
