First time buyer after marriage?

I am desperately saving toward buying my first house however my partner and I are now engaged.
How does it work with being a first time buyer after getting married? My partner owns a flat but I still would like to buy a property. I am saving in a lifetime ISA and don't think I will save enough before our proposed wedding date to buy before we get married.
Any advice would be great,
thanks

I may be wrong (someone can confirm) but I believe you'll be able to use your HTB bonus towards the purchase.
However I don't think you'll be eligible for the stamp duty land tax relief - as your partner already has a property.
Edit: I forgot to add, as far as I know being married or not won't make any difference.0 -
