Property valuation- subsidence and wet rafters

My grandmother (82) wants to sell her property, a terraced house divided into two apartments . The property is in the NW6 area.
Several estate agencies came over to evaluate and told us that the “asking price” could be around 1.450 k.
After the evaluation, we ran a Building Survey, as we know the house is in bad shape, and found out that there is “possible subsidence”, “wet rafters”, and “raising damp” , among many other things.
There is no question that these problems will take a toll in the sale price, but how much do you think?
We might make an effort to solve those problems in the hope that the house could fetch a much better price in the market. Is it feasible?

Dunno. Ask the surveyor you paid?

This may get a better reception on HBR&S as there is little/nothing here mortgage related.

    Thanks,
Yep, It seems it is the wrong forum...

Surveyor said "nothing than a few thousand pounds" couldn´t do, but went no further.

    Thanks again.

If the problems are obvious, then surely the EA took these into account when valuing the property?

We do not know. One valuated the house in less than a 1.000 k. and said nothing more, another said 2,1 k. but warned about the "the work needed to be done". Three others said something in between.
