Natwest mortgage application

I have DIP with Natwest and looking to go with them, has anyone had any experience with Natwest, my credit rating isn't so good because of credit card debt and overdraft which I have now paid off, any comments of your experience would be greatly welcomed.

It will be the same with other lenders, proceed to full application and wait.

Also one thing to remember is Natwest process is they now issue the Valuer not long after the application has been submitted so whereas this is a good sign when get to this stage with other Lenders it does not really count for anything with Natwest

What happened to your HSBC mortgage application?

Rather than firing wildly. Speak to a broker for guidance. They are best placed to suggest the most appropriate lenders for your personal circumstances.

I decided against HSBC, I didn't qualify as i'm on a 2 year fixed year contract and been in the post for less than 2 years, they require I be employed for more than 2 years by the same company. The adviser did not mention this to me. plus reading review about HSBC, thou they offer the best rate they can be very picky about transactions.

I've found a property and made and offer which has been accepted, went through the full application with Natwest on 16/06/18 and full credit check which has been referred to the underwriter so fingers crossed, received a text they will contact me with 5 working days.
