Santnder DIP Soft Search / Hard Search

Hi All..
Just keen to understand if anyone has a view about how accurate the Santander DIP is? I put in an application and the DIP was successful.
I have 3 defaults 4 years old (just over) but they are registered at a previous address which I've not lived at for 4 years, so the address was not provided during the DIP as they only need three years. I've been in rented for the last three years at different addresses...
The address is showing on Experian as a linked address..
Is it possible that the soft search may not have picked these up but the hard search will?
thanks..

Yes, that is possible, Santander can and do refer to both Equifax and or Experian.
If you have defaults you should be using a Broker to avoid complicating your situation.I am a Mortgage Broker

Thanks for the reply..
I did another DIP and added the address where defaults are registered as the overlap in addresses is small, and it's been successful again..
I'm weighing up the risk of going ahead with this before going to a specialist..0 -
I'm looking for 75% LTV so it might be helping with a higher score / pass?0

Santander don't seem to have anything about defaults within their lending criteria0

Go to a broker. Mine said getting through the DIP with Santander was 90% of the battle, but they do perform a soft search so I!!!8217;m not sure how true that is. I imagine your high LTV will help.0
