First Direct Mortgage Advice needed

Hi All,
I'm a customer with First direct for more than 4 years now. I've applied for Mortgage and i got a DIP, However i'm worried as my credit score is Fair in Experian(840) and this might affect it in the final application. I've noticed there is no search on my credit report from my DIP, and I've heard of people not having credit search for First direct mortgages is it true?
I've not had any credit search when they offered me a gold credit card. This would put my mind at ease and i can be confident my mortgage will be approved
Thanks,
Ravi

So far I have no searches recorded and I am on my 3 rd application as I have had 2 chains collapse
That said FD may credit check me before the drawdown I suppose0 -
What do you mean when you said 2 chains collapse? is this you lost the property or the AIP expired?0

Lost my buyer and in turn the house i was buying
Than sold my house and offered on another but the vendor could not get a mortgage for his purchase
FD have extended my AIP twice and last week I re applied as they have dropped their rates ...all done over the phone with no hassle0
