They weren't trolls who had posted, advice was posted which you didnt like, would you react the same if the advice was given face to face ?
Take a chill pill and be more like an adult.0 -
>> They weren't trolls who had posted,
Just look at the number of posts they've made -- they're either very keen on personal finance or trolls -- I think I know bearing in mind the sneering attitude of both
>> would you react the same if the advice was given face to face ?
Yes. Blaming the individual for an institution's failings is daft IMO
>> Take a chill pill and be more like an adult.
No drugz here (anymore) Not even alcohol.
Adults don't go around being a troll -- although some appear to get off on it...
don't understand that either
<later> This from the current edition of MSE tips email letter:

I'm sure everyone here is agog to know the latest in my TSB Loans and refer to FCA saga since my last post.
At the end of last month I reported that I'd requested FCA to consider my claim against TSB as a priority matter since I'd taken a £multi-thousand contract for a classic car restoration against TSB's firm agreement to supply the loan for it. TSB had subsequently twice confirmed in their own investigation report that my application had been in order and agreed.
FCA completed their report on the 14th although I've yet to get a copy of it. They tell me that TSB's response could be delayed due to all the complaints they're handling for their current customer base over their failed changeover from Lloyd's data servers to another system (passim)
FCA was brilliant! They asked all the right questions, investigated all the right areas (IMO) and completed in about a fortnight! Let's hope it brings a result and TSB Loans to their senses:T
I visited the car's restoration workshops on Friday and wasn't pressed for further payment -- but they say they will be ready to deliver in a month
Meantime :money:from the latest newsletter: "Whip out your debit card - got a winner? It shows where you bank, and if yours has hideous fees or service (ahem, TSB)... "0 -
Just an update for those agog to see how and whether FCA will assist. And with what strength.
And whether TSB will take any notice
FCA has issued its preliminary decision: I should accept the £100 derisory offer of compensation from TSB. They have no powers to force TSB to make a loan to me especially since TSB no longer have that product on offer to non-current TSB customers. That decision is open to appeal.
I've lodged an appeal which is now under consideration by FCA: I was the subject of mal-administration, I should be put back into the position I would've been had my agreed loan been processed correctly whey back in February / March.
I've also found out that the appointment date that I did go to get my agreed loan in branch (with all my idents, and six months' worth of previous bank's statements) was the first available due to only the branch manager and deputy manager having the permission to handle loan products. Being a southeast London branch it's very busy as I saw when I was there. They tried to process my agreed loan -- but even they were not aware that it needed to be taken up within seven days of my giving approval.
This all has been reported to the FCA adjudicator who says she'll look again at their decision on Monday.
MF -- if you're still awake that is0
