Hi Folks,
I've just recently ended up working in two positions which although add up to a full time post are technically both part time and at different grades. The jobs are both in the same company and I was working full time up till this month.
My question is, does anyone know how mortgage companies view this? My earnings have increased. The figures are:
Salary £17959
Mortgage £45000ish
My mortgage is due for renewal at the end of Dec.
Any info/advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Suz

There are indeed lenders that will take both these incomes into account.
WHat is the property value?
Do you have a good credit history?
Do you have any other debts/loans in the background?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. The value of my property is around about £70k
I have as far as I'm aware a good credit history, no defaults, CCJs or missed payments etc anyway.
The only loan I have now is a student loan sitting at about £4400.[STRIKE]Student Loan = 798 @ Jan 2013 Target date to clear = 2013 DONE [/STRIKE]

First thing you should do is see what your current lender will offer you and see what fees they will charge
Then you will need to compare against the best of the rest. BAsed on those figures you should have the pick of the marketI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
