Mortgage application while off sick

Hi, i am currently quite far into buying/selling our house. Our mortgage application is ongoing, all documentation provided and survey booked in for today (mortgage is with Halifax)
However, i have recently been signed off from work with stress/anxiety related to both work and personal life. I was prescibed medication 2 weeks ago. I was initaly signed off for 5 weeks, i returned for a few days last week but struggled so will possibly be off for a bit longer until the medication really kicks in (maybe another 1-2 weeks but nothing ling term)
Obviously this has all happened during the mortgage process, i am currently on full pay, although not sure for how much longer. We have a sizeable amount of savings after the buying/selling prcocess so money isnt an issue.
I am just worrying now that this will affect our application..
Any ideas?

Depends if the Lender is aware, if your payslips you provided them are showing this then I woukd be surprised if they did not mention it. If not then in essence it will not affect it but maybe the question is can you afford to get the mortgage if you lost your job0
