    Morning all.

Ironing bits cleared, washing is out on the line. Today is my day off, so how come I'm going into work again?:(

Dizzy - don't apologise, it's lovely to hear your positive news.

Have good days all, and more supporting hugs to all those in need. X

Morning all. Hugs for those struggling and glad that things are going well for you Dizzy.

HB - whenever I have had dogs that do not understand recall, I pretend to run away from them. They usually run back to you then.

From the list yesterday I hoovered the bed and changed the bedding. I also cut the grass out back and did the dailies.

Today I need to try to -

    Keep up with dailies
Do paperwork and make phone calls
    Clean HSL
    Hoover through
    Look at list

    Have a great day everyone.

Gah... hayfever drugs snaffled.. my nose and eyes are streaming and I can't stop sneezing..

OH sent to shop with Twinkle to get bread, milk and bananas.. She was howling the street down when he left.. Girls were up and ready early so they got dropped at breakfast club.. thirds won't kill them!

WM's run through a super hot smell killing wash last night.. and have had 2 rinses now so should smell nicer.. Stripping the girls beds today.. they haven't been done in a while.

I shall go make a cuppa and boss OH to load the DW when he gets back while I wash my hair, which is vile I just had no time yesterday.

I will have OH remake the girls beds when he gets back from work .. not straight away I'm not an ogre!

I might have him put a few bits in the car to drop at the tip on the way home while I think on it.. we need 3 or 4 runs so he may as well crack on with the first .. 4 tables, a chair, a dead BBQ for starters..

    Right.. onwards...

Have a lovely day all.. Jojo.. hope his day #2 is less stressful for you! Dizzy... its lovely to hear not everyones life is going to the dogs.. don't be sorry! Hugs to all in need xxx

It's so lovely to hear that things are much happier in the Dizzy Household. You deserve it.

Thanks Jazee. I know that if I went and sat in the car, indicating playtime was over, he'd join me - he's got separation anxiety! However, what worries me is him escaping from the house and ignoring me in a dangerous situation, so I want instant recall. He's an 'I'll just amble over there sniff that interesting piece of grass before I go and see what she wants' kind of dog.

Two trees need the weeds removing from around them this morning, and then back to sewing before having to do some very hard work over at the chalet later. Selling it is supposed to make my life easier, but as usual there's a huge amount of stuff that needs doing in order to get to where I want to be. I'm awfully tired of living like this but it's all part of Hovel to Haven. I WILL have more time to call my own.
    Better is good enough.

  • Relatively successful day today. I was very productive (mostly transcribing songs and designing a promo poster) and Himself made it through the morning, despite doing a good impression of a dying swan when I got home because it was very hot in the exam room - although that might have had something to do with my eventually pointing out that whilst he was fannying about moaning about being made to feel like a child by somebody in the exam hall, at the same time, I was intervening to defuse something before it got silly - he wasn't going to get much in the way of sympathy when it's one of the least stressful education jobs you can have.

No breakfast/lunch for me today, either, but my ordering meal replacement drinks on Sunday night paid off, as they were delivered just as I was beginning to flag (got them sent to work). The latest incarnation of the most well known brand (dairy free/lactose free variants for the first time) is actually vaguely palatable and I stopped feeling hungry then. I'm not thinking of them as a magic weightloss potion, anyway, but it means that if there is nothing or a box of dry leaves again, I can avoid going woozy by the time I'm crossing an extremely busy road home. And, to be honest, there isn't much opportunity to sit down and eat without constant interruptions, so it's probably more useful to be able to neck one of them down and get on with it.

My limit for housework is going to be making sure the bathroom is clean - having the glazed panel replaced means I can see that the frame needs a good clean and the bin needs emptying.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

I've been trying to do some MADs in the back garden in the evening while the weather is Ok. I think it's making a small difference as the name suggests, but tonight I just cba. I did go out there a bit earlier and threw a few more salad and herb seeds around. All in the name of MSE of course:money:, and trying so hard to reduce our shopping bills.

I ended up being in work for nearly 3 hours instead of the promised 1 hour, but at least we got the job done. I had managed to dash around doing the grocery shop ( easy as the shelves were half empty) and fill up with petrol before going in. Kitchen surfaces have had about 10 million wipes today - OK maybe only 10 - and the floor has finally been mopped. A couple of hours weeding at the allotment, a quick run round downstairs with the vacuum cleaner, followed by dinner, and now I'm collapsed on the sofa, about to go and make a cuppa.

    Awesome slinky result, Piggers.
