Are you sure their warranty is such a bargain. My daughter's ds broke within 2 wks last xmas and I had an awful time getting argos to sort it out. I'd bought the ds over a month b4 xmas so it wasn't eligible for their 30days moneyback guarantee. It took until the end of March for us to finally get it all sorted. It was a complete nightmare!19/03/2007 Start weight 15st 7lbs

i have had a few things on argos warranty, including our wii, and whilst i have had no problems with the wii, they are excellent at replacing items that have been damaged/broken whatever. well. that has been my experience in the past anyways.
i suppose everyone has their own story though! lol
maybe i should change the post to read "in my opinon" it was a great bargain! lol
ps. their "30 day" money back guarantee lasts until February for christmas gifts according to the supervisor in our local store, providing the item wasn't bought before 1st November and is not wrecked!0 -
Hi, I am trying to find a black nintendo ds lite console for the best offer, but most places with available codes are now out of stock. John Lewis never seem to have them in stock and now HMV are out again. Any ideas please? Thank you:rudolf:0

Hi, just for the console with no games £99 at GAME. They have a really good 2 year warranty against accidental damage for £12.99. They also have a loyalty card so you can get money off your next purchase aswell. They had loads of black in stock in Hanley.0

Deliveries of Wii's and DS's happen on thursday night/friday morning. Best to get up fairly early on the friday morning and head to your high street.0

Zavvi (formerly Virgin) shops are doing a DS (various colours) with choice of two games for £100 - games are not that great and they are actually selling the games alone for £10 each. Games are Silver Surfer, Raving Rabbits, Strawberry Shortcake, Star Trek ?. Other deal is a DS, a Simpsons pack (bag etc), and any game for £115, I think, but better ring your local shop to check. Hope this helps.0

Hi, thanks for all your help. I've just tried those stores on line, but with no luck. Think I will try the Friday morning idea before hitting the highstreets. thank you;)0
