They are in stock at amazon.de if that helps anybody and they post internationally.

The only thing which worries me slightly is the warranty - which means the DS presume would have to be sent back to Amazon Germany if there is a problem?

Tried most of the big retailers and all are currently out of stock (currys, comet, argos, toyr r us, Game, John Lewis etc etc).

Anyone any suggestions, need one for daughters birthday (3rd feb).

Have seen a large number on ebay but would rather goes through a reputable retailer to get guarantee, uk model etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I got my daughter a DS 2 weeks before Christmas. Pure fluke, I asked in my local Tesco if they had any and the nice lady on electrical went and had a look for me. Turned out she had one lonely box sitting in the warehouse - ok, I wanted pink and got black - but a DS is a DS, especially at this time of year!!

Its worth asking if you're in there shopping anyway, you might strike lucky

Not the cheapest (£135) but Zavvi have them in stock online. They are available instore as bundles which is actually working out cheaper. Edinburgh has them, so it might be worth checking your local Zavvi (previously Virgin megastores) branch?

Dabs have them in stock. It's just simple the console though, no games.

They vary in price by a couple of £ depending on the colour but they're about £100.
