Most flexible loans?
Options
Hi
I am looking to take out a loan of around 5-6k with a repayment a month of around £150 (keeping it fairly low on purpose).
What I am looking for is flexibility in:
- being able to pay off large chunks whenever I want
- and then (obviously) ending the loan early (basically being allowed to with no extra charges)
For this I am willing to take on a slightly higher interest rate - because I am fairly sure if I pay it back much quicker I will pay aroudn the same or less i nthe long run.
So what are the best loans in this regard?
I ahve looked at EGG and they seem to tick both boxes -any risks I should know of and any other recommendations?
I wont be taking out PPI.

Hi
I am looking for the exact same loanEgg looks like a good choice to me if my bank won't top-up my graduate loan which is 7.9%.
I have had 2 small £1000 loans with Egg before and didn't have any problems. I had a couple of repayment breaks. Couldn't afford to make extra repayments back then but it sounds like a good option to have now.

Why not take a look at www.zopa.com.
Gives you 100% flexibility and you might have seen in the press that they have just launched (this wednesday) the new listings service too. Meaning if you go that route people will be bidding against each other to fund your loan which should drive rates down.0
