Hello All,
I have sorted out a pile of all my debts, Checked my credit file and although im sure i did owe money to a few other companys can find nothing on there and have no letters from them so will have to wait i guess till they get in touch again.
All my debts are now with debt collection companies, A few i have made odd payments to here and there and some i have just ignored. I also have a debt for council tax that im trying to pay although am not meeting there £70 a week that the baliffs asked for they seem happy with what i am paying.
Im not sure now where to turn or what to do. Do i contact payplan or similar and see if they can help me get on track. or go right to the debt collectors and try and come to an agreement. Most of them have written a number of times and foolishly i have just ignored there letters but now want to get on top of them and sort it out once and for all.
any advise??
Many Thanks

Hi
I was over £30k in debt last year which was due in part to being signed off work for 6 months (wages dropping to nothing and no help from credit card companies) and after much sticking my head in the sand and with the help of my husband, I contacted Payplan and have never looked back. As soon as I had spoken to them I felt like a weight had been lifted - I cannot recommend them highly enough. All interest was stopped, there were no more nasty letter and phone calls and I am now paying back an affordable amount each month. I have been making payment for 14 months now and another 4 years to go but I will be debt free which never would have happened without their help.
Good luck.
