Mortgage with Expired CCJ and 50% Deposit??

So a few years ago (just over 6) I got a fine of 100 quid which I did not pay (was only 17 at the time) which spiraled into £1280 O_O Anyhow I now have my own business importing and distributing goods made 60k profit last year on track to make about 80k this year (yay!). Im now planning on moving out my parents in the next year or so...but I dont know if I will be approved for a mortgage??

Would they still be able to see if that I had a CCJ taking into account that it is expired and not on my credit report any more??

What if they ask me if I ever had a CCJ am I required to disclose the CCJ even though it has expired? Is it not like a spent conviction where once its expired or spent you do not need to disclose it?

I plan on having about 50% deposit. If it is a worst case scenario will I just have to live at my parents for another 3 or 4 years and just pay cash for a house?

Any ideas or advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks all xxxxxxx

Although the CCJ may have dropped off your credit report (check your credit reports for confirmation), they may still be able to enforce it.

With a 50% deposit and the CCJ being only £100 and so old, I would expect you to be able to get a Mortgage at normal rates even if it is picked up. Your options will vary depending on whether or not it gets picked up.
