It is by no means surprising that you have been paid at the rate specified in the ANSOD letter!!!55357;!!!56842; I would have been worried if you hadn't!

Was there anything it that which said that this was an interim award pending receipt of the FRY (Final Relevant Year) data?

If not you could ring them and ask why the amount awarded differs from the forecasts you had received.

It is entirely possible for the forecast to differ from the actual amount received, they are produced from entirely different systems but it is worth making the call just in case.

It does say in the ANSOD letter, that they need to make further enquiries into my NI record.......since receiving the letter the Gov. website showed that the free NI credits had been added, and gives the weekly figure of £152.50......unfortunately now that I am in receipt of the pension, I can no longer view the figures on the Gov. site, but I am sure that I saw it correctly......maybe two departments haven't caught up with each other yet..........

O.k....rang the pension department this morning....spoke to a very nice lady....unfortunately still non the wiser....I was trying to clarify if I was getting £147.71 per week, or £152.50, I explained that I had seen the higher figure on the Gov.UK website, she couldn't tell me but said that as I suspected, one department probably hadn't updated the other yet.....only about £6 a week, but £24 a month, so £288 per year.....she has passed my query on to the relevant department, and said that I should get an answer in "about 5 to 10 days"......the lady also said that this was a fairly regular occurrence....has anyone else had this happen to them ?

Still not heard anything from DWP, as to why my pension forecast said £152.50 per week, but am only receiving £147.....have now rung them 3 times, to no avail......surely things should have updated by now ?.....I am beginning to wonder if it is because 2015/16 was not a full NI year, although I do have 48 full years, but then surely the Gov. UK site would have said so......any thoughts welcomed......

1/35th of the single tier state pension is 4.69 a week and that's close to the 4.79 difference given that the earlier number might have been without inflation increase. I think that you're just missing one year and once NI records catch up you'll get the higher figure and a backdating lump sum.

Thanks for that....that does seem to be the general opinion....just to go over it again, my forecast was £147 and a few pence, but said that the most that I could get was £152.50 per week once the NI credits had been added......which they were on 26th April.....two years free credits.....the forecast then gave the figure of £152.50 per week....of course now that I am actually in receipt of the pension I can no longer see that forecast, and am receiving the lower figure of the two......I don't seem to be able to get an answer as to why......I am informed that the one incomplete year 2015/16 shouldn't make any difference...…..

O.k....Thanks, one last thing, the Gov. website states that my pension will be £152.50 per week.....the letter from HRMC says £147 per week, presumably the higher figure is correct, as I have now had two free years of NI contributions added, making a total of 48 years.....maybe different departments don't "talk" to each other........
O.K.....Today got first full payment of SP.....£147.81 per week, still not heard from DWP, so rang them again, a very helpful lady said that she would e-mail the appropriate department, and that they should ring me "within 10 days".....where have I heard that before ?

Marvellous !!....Just had a call from DWP....my weekly pension is now £152.50 per week, plus they owe me about 30 quid, which will be paid in straight away.....a very nice lady explained that although my NI credits were added on 26th April, because of my call yesterday they have " only just updated their database ".....so I didn't imagine it !!...well pleased...!!
