Sorry this will seem a stupid question I am sure however a search didn't seem to find the answer for me. I always see that mortgage deposits seem to go up in 5% stages. If I had enough for say a 17% deposit, can I do that and take an 83% mortgage (these are hypothetical figures).
I'm looking to maximise the LISA by buying may/june next year but putting an extra £4k in in April for a bonus. That would likely push me over the multiples of 5% but wouldn't want to leave what's left in the LISA for 25 years of can't do an odd percentage.
Blimey I droned on there. Thanks in advance for any replies
