Not asked for ID after interview

I used to conduct a lot of interviews and forgot to take a copy of the candidate's ID 9 times out of 10.

To be fair, I am more forgetful than most but interviews can also be stressful for the interviewer.

We are getting better at asking for it when interviewees arrive, but not 100% yet. We bless the cotton socks of any interviewee who says "oh you want to see my passport, don't you?" to whoever greets them at the door ...
