Folding Bikes

Wanted to see if there are any decent offers around for folding bikes.
Due to an incident with another car, I am now bus bound for while and as the bus is 20 minutes from my house and my work is 20 minutes away from the other end, I though a folding bike would work out well.
I have looked into the "cycle to work" scheme which is fine, but wanted to know if there are any good deals out there.
Also want to hear from anyone with the Sinclar "A-Cycle" - want to know if its safe
