Gift card boo boo

Options
Hi All

Made a massive boo boo the other day as wanted to purchase a House of Fraser gift card and ended up buying one for Biba. The website did confuse me as this Biba gift card came before the standard House of Fraser ones so I thought they were just using the word 'Biba' to describe the design of the card and didn't realise Biba is a brand, whoops!

Anyway, I was buying the card on behalf of my director at work for one of my colleagues and I feel it was for quite a significant amount (£250). House of Fraser have said that gift cards cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded but I was hoping there might be something that might cover me for buying it online?

Either that or it's £250 out of my own pocket to get the real one and trying to find someone who wants a Biba one!

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks
