SolarEdge, Iboost and 315Wp panels, looks like a good deal, I think.

Makes you wonder how much profit these companies "want" to make doesn't it when they can just upgrade to solaredge(to include optimisers) for the same price.If you can get Solar Edge for the same price then I would say that the items you have listed are over priced.

There can be plenty of harm in trying. (Something I learnt from many years of negotiating and sales training). Negotiating too hard can lead to poor customer service. If a supplier thinks they are not getting a great deal, they'll save their hard work for the customers that are providing a better margin. And with something as complicated as PV I'd want my installer very much on my side through the process.Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.

Took the big step and ordered the £5273 quote for fitment starting 5th June.
Had another quote from someone today for 8k!!3.78 kWp PV SolarEdge with iBoost South facing.
30° pitch roof 4% shading. Installed 6th June 18.
