And me for my 2kWp WNW system. Loft now heats up with outside ambient temps, but not with sunshine on slates temps as the roof now has specialised solar shielding ...... PV panels. ;)
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

I did ask to be quoted for solaredge but thats not what the quote points to, I have asked for clarification... or am i missing something

EDIT: quote changed to solaredge, same price etc

SolarEdge, Iboost and 315Wp panels, looks like a good deal, I think.

A £2k saving on the earlier price after allowing for a 180Wp increase.

If you can get Solar Edge for the same price then I would say that the items you have listed are over priced.
Makes you wonder how much profit these companies "want" to make doesn't it when they can just upgrade to solaredge(to include optimisers) for the same price.
I'd personally try and squeeze em down to £5k(or less) as there's probably some wiggle room left in the price....no harm in trying....:D
    2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)

There can be plenty of harm in trying. (Something I learnt from many years of negotiating and sales training). Negotiating too hard can lead to poor customer service. If a supplier thinks they are not getting a great deal, they'll save their hard work for the customers that are providing a better margin. And with something as complicated as PV I'd want my installer very much on my side through the process.
    Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.
    Install 2: Sept 19, 600W SSE
    Solax 6.3kWh battery
  • Took the big step and ordered the £5273 quote for fitment starting 5th June.

Had another quote from someone today for 8k!!
3.78 kWp PV SolarEdge with iBoost South facing.
    30° pitch roof 4% shading. Installed 6th June 18.
