The LIBOR conspiracy fact goes even deeper now that it is being done away with, which means even fixed rate mortgages are going up.

Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future

Publication of LIBOR was taken away from the BBA in 2015 and it's now published by ICE. LIBOR-settled futures contracts are exploding in volume

so no sign of any loss of confidence in LIBOR there. LIBOR will continue to be published, because why wouldn't it?
