25.10.07 what small dfw thing will you do or have you done today?

So, you know what to do - let us all know what small things you are doing today which are helping you to become debt free - these may be things that you might think of as insignificant, whereas in fact they are just as important as the bigger things because they are forming good financial habits!

So today I will:
  • put washing on the line, not use the tumble drier
  • piggy clicks and comps
  • check online banking
  • continue sorting a spreadsheet for November
  • check mystery shopping sites
  • leftover thai food for dinner - free food :D
  • not increase my debt in any way
  • try and be positive
Have a good day everyone xx

Morning LJ! The kids seem to be having a good time and working hard. I get a text each evening from DD with a quick update but nothing from DS - so assume all is well with him!! It is very cold over there though - minus 15!!!

I forced myself out of bed 20 minutes earlier to sort out washing - for the first time in 4 years came close to using the tumbler dryer - and make a sandwich for lunch.

Good luck with the Avon Scarlett, hope the other Mums are big spenders ;)

    Today I shall
-Remove £250 from one account, cross the road and pay it into the joint account so that the mortgage doesn't bounce tomorrow (OH's pay still not received  and this is the culmination of a very hairy month...) All overdrafts maxed, had to wait until my pay went in yesterday.
-done my clicks, done a couple of surveys (missed more sadly)
-rice pudding in the slow-cooker, now have to persuade DS that stewed apple would go well with it.:D
-washing on the airer, nothing left on stand-by. And haven't told DS how to put the heating up :o
    - Refund coming back for part of the overpayment on my gas, left the rest because I may use more over the next few months of winter...
-on-line banking & spreadsheets. (Do I need to mention this? I'm on EVERY DAY at the moment!)
-Almost looking forward to a new month and the end of this difficult one.
  • today i've:
    -done the pigsback ct's
-written a letter to Capital One to reclaim my charges!
-apologised my mum for not visiting her in November (I'm in London, she's in Leeds) as the train fare's loads, I'll spend loads, and I'm saving for Xmas/overdraft!!
    :A

Dear Barbie, have you looked at Megatrain?
Very restrictive travel times, limited seats but only £1 + admin fees (50p?)
I don't know whether they go to Leeds, but I'm hoping to use them to go to the West Country (Yeovil)
